Zivilcourage, Mut, Tapferkeit: Emilie und Oskar Schindler
Am 9. November wird es zu diesem Thema eine Veranstaltung der Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung in der Aula des Ferdinand-Sauerbruch-Gymnasiums für die 10. Klassen geben.
Nach einer kurzen Begrüßung und Einführung durch Frau Mahano von der Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung Dresden, folgt ein Vortrag der Schriftstellerin, Journalistin und Schindler-Biografin Erika Rosenberg, sowie eine Diskussions- und Fragerunde.
Vor 85 Jahren fanden an diesem Tag die Pogrome gegen Synagogen und jüdische Einrichtungen statt. Jüdische Mitbürger wurden getötet, gedemütigt, misshandelt und verhaftet, ihre Wohnungen und Geschäfte demoliert und zerstört. Viele machten mit, andere sahen zu und unternahmen nichts, auch in den Folgejahren. Doch es gab auch Fälle von Widerstand, von einer Auflehnung gegen ein menschenverachtendes System.
Die Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung schreibt dazu im Programm:
Ein bemerkenswertes Beispiel für Zivilcourage und Tapferkeit sind Emilie und Oskar Schindler. Oskar Schindler rettete über 1.000 jüdische Arbeiter vor dem sicheren Tod, indem er sie in seinen Fabriken beschäftigte und vor der Deportation bewahrte. Emilie Schindler unterstützte ihn dabei und übernahm die Verantwortung für den Schutz der jüdischen Arbeiter. Sie sind leuchtende Vorbilder für den Mut und die Entschlossenheit, die in Zeiten extremer Unterdrückung und Gefahr erforderlich war, um Gutes zu tun.
Diese Geschichten von Emilie und Oscar Schindler ermutigen uns, unsere eigene Zivilcourage zu stärken und uns für Gerechtigkeit und Menschlichkeit einzusetzen. Sie zeigen uns, dass wir als Individuen die Kraft haben, positive Veränderungen herbeizuführen, selbst unter schwierigsten Umständen.
Während unserer Veranstaltung wollen wir uns intensiv mit den Geschichten von Emilie und Oskar Schindler auseinandersetzen. Wir werden ihre Taten und ihr Vermächtnis erforschen, um zu verstehen, wie Zivilcourage und Tapferkeit eine entscheidende Rolle spielen können, um Ungerechtigkeiten entgegenzutreten.
Gemeinsam werden wir über die Bedeutung von Zivilcourage in unserer eigenen Zeit sprechen und darüber nachdenken, wie wir uns für Gerechtigkeit und Menschlichkeit in unserer eigenen Gemeinschaft einsetzen können. Die Geschichten von Emilie und Oskar Schindler sollen uns inspirieren und uns dazu ermutigen, unsere Stimmen zu erheben, wenn Unrecht geschieht, und uns für diejenigen einzusetzen, die Unterstützung und Schutz benötigen.
