Das Ferdinand-Sauerbruch-Gymnasium ist seit September Transferschule im LemaS-Netzwerk. Wir hatten uns im letzten Schuljahr mit unserem neuen Konzept der Begabtenförderung in Klasse 6 und 8 beworben und wurden angenommen. Die Aufnahme in das LemaS-Netzwerk bedeutet für uns eine wertvolle Chance zum Austausch mit anderen Schulen aus den Landkreisen Bautzen und Görlitz. So können wir von den Erfahrungen anderer Schulen profitieren und gleichzeitig unsere eigenen Erfahrungen teilen. Ziel dieses Austauschs ist es, gemeinsam an der Weiterentwicklung der schulischen Bildung zu arbeiten und voneinander zu lernen.
Die Initiative LemaS steht für "Leistung macht Schule" und ist ein Programm des Bundesministeriums für Bildung und Forschung. Das Ziel dieser Initiative ist es, Schulen bei der Weiterentwicklung ihrer Unterrichtsqualität zu unterstützen, dabei steht die individuelle Förderung von Schülerinnen und Schülern im Vordergrund. Die Initiative arbeitet seit 2018 deutschlandweit und schulartübergreifend und ist auf eine Dauer von 10Jahren angelegt. In einer ersten Phase haben die Schulen mit Unterstützung von Universitäten an Konzepten und Ideen gearbeitet. Die Schulen der ersten Phase transferieren ihr Wissen nun an die neu hinzugekommen Transferschulen.
