In Frankfurt hatten wir leider mehrere Stunden Aufenthalt. Um 21 Uhr konnten wir dann endlich von Frankfurt in Richtung Porto abheben. Mitten in der Nacht kamen wir dort an, zum Gl\u00fcck wartete unser gemieteter Bus bereits auf uns und brachte uns nach vier Stunden Fahrt sicher nach Lugo. Gegen 5:30 Uhr warteten 12 aufgeregte spanische Teenager auf ihre \u00fcberm\u00fcdeten deutschen G\u00e4ste.<\/p>\n

Nach einer kurzen Schulf\u00fchrung besuchten wir ein Museum \u00fcber die R\u00f6mische Geschichte Lugos. Nachdem wir uns alles angeschaut hatten, gingen wir auf den Marktplatz. In Gruppen l\u00f6sten wir die Aufgaben einer Stadtrallye und bewunderten Lugo von allen Seiten. Danach kehrten wir zur Schule zur\u00fcck und gingen mit unseren Austauschsch\u00fclern nach Hause.<\/p>\n
Am Abend trafen wir uns wieder in der Turnhalle und feierten eine kleine Willkommensparty, um uns alle besser kennenzulernen. Nach viel Gel\u00e4chter, Spielen und gutem Essen endete der Tag mit starkem Regen.<\/p>\n

Um 8:30 holte uns der Bus ab und brachte uns nach 2 Stunden Fahrt in die Stadt.<\/p>\n
Als erstes besichtigten wir ein interaktives Museum rund um den Menschen (Domus). Vor Ort konnten wir viel selber machen, wie z.B. Reaktions- und Geruchsspiele. Danach sind wir mit dem Bus zum Torre de Hercules (Herkulesturm) gefahren. Leider konnten wir nicht in den Turm hinein, da er wegen des st\u00fcrmischen Wetters geschlossen war. Deshalb drehten wir nur eine Runde um das Geb\u00e4ude.<\/p>\n
Dann sind wir in die Stadt gefahren und hatten von 14:00 Uhr bis 17:30 Uhr Freizeit. Einige sind in der Zeit essen gegangen und andere haben die Stadt erkundet.<\/p>\n
Um 17:30 Uhr trafen wir uns wieder am Bus und fuhren nach einem gelungenen Tag zur\u00fcck nach Lugo.<\/p>\n

Dieses Kreuz symbolisiert die Rolle des Apostels Jakobus als Ritter und Soldat. Seine rote Farbe steht f\u00fcr das Blut, das Jakobus w\u00e4hrend seines Martyriums vergossen hat, als er durch Enthauptung mit einem Schwert get\u00f6tet wurde.<\/p>\n
Anschlie\u00dfend sind wir auf der r\u00f6mischen Stadtmauer spazieren gegangen. Diese beeindruckende Mauer ist 2000 Jahre alt und hat eine L\u00e4nge von reichlich 2 Kilometern. Sie ist eine der am besten erhaltenen r\u00f6mischen Stadtmauern und diente einst zur Verteidigung der Stadt. Heute nutzen viele Menschen sie, um Sport zu treiben oder einfach zu spazieren.<\/p>\n
Die H\u00e4user in der Umgebung sind teilweise nicht besonders sch\u00f6n, weshalb viele K\u00fcnstler Graffitis an die W\u00e4nde spr\u00fchen. F\u00fcr diese Kunstwerke hat Lugo sogar einen Weltpreis gewonnen.<\/p>\n
Sp\u00e4ter haben wir das Museum \u201eA Domus do Mitreo\u201c besucht. Eine Domus ist ein r\u00f6misches Haus, und dieses stammt aus dem ersten Jahrhundert. Es ist das \u00e4lteste Haus, das in Lugo gefunden wurde. Der Mitreo ist ein Tempel, der dem Gott Mitra, dem Besch\u00fctzer des Heeres, gewidmet ist. Im Museum haben wir viel \u00fcber die damalige Haustechnologie gelernt, wie zum Beispiel \u00fcber das Abwasser- und Heizungssystem. Der Tempel wurde erst im Jahr 2000 entdeckt.<\/p>\n
Wir haben auch die Gr\u00e4ber von San Roque gesehen und in Portami\u00f1a mehr \u00fcber die Kloaken der r\u00f6mischen Zeit erfahren. Schlie\u00dflich wurde uns erkl\u00e4rt, dass der Camino de Santiago, die Stadtmauer (La Muralla) und die Kathedrale zum Weltkulturerbe geh\u00f6ren. In Lugo sprechen die Menschen sowohl Galizisch als auch Spanisch.<\/p>\n
Am Nachmittag haben sich die meisten aus der Gruppe dazu entschieden, zum Club Fluvial zu gehen, der am Fluss Mi\u00f1o liegt. Das ist der gr\u00f6\u00dfte Fluss Galiziens. Dort kann man verschiedene Sportarten machen, wie Fu\u00dfball, Basketball oder Paddeln. Wir spielten eine Runde Fu\u00dfball.<\/p>\n
Danach sind wir ins Stadtzentrum gegangen und haben die typisch spanischen Churros gegessen. Am Abend waren wir bei Burger King essen.<\/p>\n
Zu Ende des langen, erlebnisreichen Tages, gingen wir m\u00fcde nach Hause zu unseren Gastfamilien.<\/p>\n

Angekommen in Santiago liefen wir erstmal zur Kathedrale, sie war wundersch\u00f6n und ragte \u00fcber unsere K\u00f6pfe. Anschlie\u00dfend h\u00f6rten wir uns sehr interessante Fakten \u00fcber den Platz, \u00fcber die Stadt und \u00fcber die Kathedrale an. Um den Ausflug noch sch\u00f6ner zu machen, gingen wir zum galizischen Museum. Das Geb\u00e4ude ist riesengro\u00df und es gab die interessantesten Informationen \u00fcber Galizien. Wusstet ihr, dass die Galizier ein Strohkleid hatten du es zum Schutz vor Regen benutzten? Jetzt w\u00fcrde man denken, dass es nicht mehr besser werden kann, aber doch, es gab ein extravagantes Quizspiel, in dem mehrere Gruppen gegeneinander antraten.<\/p>\n
Als der Spa\u00df vorbei war, trennten wir uns und jeder hatte sein eigenes kleines Abenteuer. Am Ende wollten wir uns wieder an der Kathedrale treffen, jedoch versp\u00e4tete sich Nepomuks Gruppe aufgrund schlechter Wegkenntnisse. Als wir uns alle gefunden hatten, traten wir den Weg zum Bus an. Anschlie\u00dfend fuhren wir zur\u00fcck nach Lugo und machten uns alle einen sch\u00f6nen Nachmittag. Dies war unser Tag.<\/p>\n

Wir fr\u00fchst\u00fcckten und dann ging es zu einem \u00fcberschwemmten Dorf bei Portomar\u00edn. Dort haben wir uns eine Kirche angeschaut und waren in einem Museum, welches von der \u00dcberschwemmung berichtete.<\/p>\n
Gegen 15 Uhr sind wir f\u00fcr eine St\u00e4rkung in ein kleines niedliches Restaurant gegangen. Es gab verschiedene Fleischsorten (Oktopus, Lamm, Schwein, Rind usw.) zum Probieren. Nachdem wir uns sattgegessen hatten, sind wir in das Wochenendhaus meiner Gastfamilie gefahren. Dort haben wir Fu\u00dfball, Tischtennis und Basketball gespielt. Zum Abendbrot gab es H\u00fchnchen mit Reis und Tomate-Mozzarella-Salat.<\/p>\n
Danach sind wir wieder zur\u00fcck nach Lugo gefahren und haben dort den Abend mit ein paar Runden FiFa und einem Film ausklingen lassen. Gegen 23:30 Uhr sind wir schlie\u00dflich ins Bett gegangen.<\/p>\n

Der Montag war ein gelungener letzter Tag. Am Morgen besuchten wir die \u201eCatedral de Lugo\u201c. Hier handelt es sich um eine atemberaubende und imposante Kathedrale, die kreuzf\u00f6rmig aufgebaut ist. Wundersch\u00f6ne Wandmalereien bedecken die gesamte Decke und die W\u00e4nde sind mit filigranem Stuck verziert. Weiter oben in der Kathedrale bestaunten wir alte Relikte und gelangten \u00fcber eine schmale Wendeltreppe auf das Dach der Kathedrale. Die \u201eCatedral de Lugo\u201c besitzt zwei Orgeln, eine aus Zeiten des Barocks und die andere wurde um 1920 erbaut. Als Kr\u00f6nung dieses besonderen Besuchs durften Nepomuk und Ella die barocke Orgel spielen.<\/p>\n
Nachdem wir die Kathedrale verlassen hatten, empfing uns die B\u00fcrgermeisterin von Lugo im \u201ePleno de Lugo\u201c, dem Plenarsaal im Rathaus. Wir durften auf den St\u00fchlen der Politiker sitzen und der B\u00fcrgermeisterin Fragen stellen. Danach genossen wir die Aussicht vom Balkon, \u00fcber der \u201ePlaza Mayor\u201c, dem Marktplatz von Lugo. Zum Schluss machten wir alle zusammen ein Foto auf der gro\u00dfen Treppe des Geb\u00e4udes. Anschlie\u00dfend besuchten wir zwei Unterrichtsstunden unserer Austauschsch\u00fcler.<\/p>\n
Am Nachmittag verabschiedeten wir uns von den Lehrern und trafen uns mit der gesamten Austauschgruppe. Zum letzten Mal gingen wir zu dem Fest \u201eSan Froil\u00e1n\u201c. Mit viel Lachen, Freude und Momenten, die wir nie vergessen werden, ging diese wundersch\u00f6ne Woche zu Ende.<\/p>\n

Wir trafen uns mit den Sch\u00fclern kurz nach 9 Uhr in der Schule. Einige von ihnen hatten ihre Gastgeber noch in die erste Unterrichtsstunde begleitet, w\u00e4hrend der Rest der Gruppe die Zeit zwischen dem Unterrichtsbeginn und der Abfahrt des Buses f\u00fcr einen letzten Stadtbummel nutzte.<\/p>\n
Kurz vor 10 Uhr schlie\u00dflich verabschiedeten wir uns von unseren Gastgebern und stiegen in den Bus, der uns nach Porto zum Flughafen bringen sollte. Dies hat alles gut geklappt, wie auch der Flug von Porto nach Frankfurt.<\/p>\n
Was leider nicht geklappt hat, war der Flug von Frankfurt nach Leipzig.\u00a0 Dies lag daran, dass die Lufthansa durch den Streik auf dem Flughafen Leipzig unseren Flug storniert hatte. Diese Nachricht hatte uns reichlich 24 Stunden vor der Heimreise nach Deutschland kalt erwischt und f\u00fchrte unter uns Lehrern zun\u00e4chst zu gro\u00dfer Ratlosigkeit. Die Bahn als Alternative konnten wir leider auch nicht nehmen, da die Pl\u00e4tze im Zug ausgebucht waren. Zum Gl\u00fcck waren aber in einem FlixBus noch ausreichend Kapazit\u00e4ten vorhanden, so dass wir uns schlie\u00dflich f\u00fcr diese Variante entschieden. Die Fahrt von Frankfurt nach Leipzig verlief ohne Probleme und wir kamen am Mittwochfr\u00fch knapp 8 Stunden sp\u00e4ter als urspr\u00fcnglich gedacht in Leipzig an.<\/p>\n
Trotz dieses ungeplanten Abschlusses wird der Aufenthalt in Galizien allen Teilnehmern in guter Erinnerung bleiben. Nun freuen wir uns auf den 2. Teil des Sch\u00fcleraustauschs, denn im April 2025 d\u00fcrfen wir \u201eunsere\u201c Spanier in Leipzig begr\u00fc\u00dfen.<\/p>\n
